The Celebration Of Life Service will be held at 11:00 AM at First Christian Church (located at 1345 Potomac Avenue, Hagerstown).

There will be a Light Reception after the service in Fellowship Hall.

We are hosting an Emergency Food Collection and we need YOUR HELP!

DIA (Disciples In Action) is having an emergency food collection on Sunday, February 3rd and Sunday, February 10th

All items will be given to the CAC (Community Action Council) Food Bank.

Our REASON for this emergency is CAC is anticipating a shortage due to the Government Shutdown, as food stamps will not be available for February and times, in general, are just difficult right now for many families.

All monetary donations will be used to purchase food products, make checks payable to First Christian Church and in the Memo Line "CAC."

The following is a preferred list of shelf stable food items:

Canned Chicken; Canned Fruit; Canned Tuna; Canned Vegetables; Cereal; Hamburger/Tuna Helper; Instant Potatoes; Jelly; Macaroni and Cheese Dinner Kits; Pancake Mix; Peanut Butter; Ramen Noodles; Rice and Noodle Sides; Spaghetti Noodles; Spaghetti Sauce; Syrup

Our Senior Minister, Rev. Jake Caldwell, experienced a trip to Myanmar in November and December 2018. He is excited to share his experience with everyone.
