The Center is located in the heart of Bethany Beach, DE “The Quiet Resort” and only two blocks from the ocean. The facility operates weekends-only in the early Spring and again in October/November, and then daily during mid-May through September.
There are three dormitory buildings, with an average occupancy ranging from 16 to 80 guests per operational day. This position is seasonal in nature, but requires full-time participation during scheduled periods.

This position is responsible for reservations management; fee collection/banking; all menu management, food procurement, food safety, and food service operations, facilities safety and cleanliness (general housekeeping operations); grounds maintenance; facilities maintenance (equipment and building repairs); and personnel training and management. The Manager must be able to work with a very culturally, linguistically, and spiritually diverse workforce and clientele, and have patience, a sense of humor, and good customer relations skills. The Manager assists in daily operations tasks, but is not involved in developing programs or programmatic materials for the guest groups or camps/conferences. Must have a valid National Restaurant Association’s ServSafe Food Protection Manager Certification within 30 days of employment. A full position description is available upon request.
